Hello! I'm Rebecca.
I am a 3rd Year PhD student in Social Psychology at Lancaster University.
My PhD is sponsored by the ESRC and Greenpeace International. The research programme that I am conducting under this sponsorship concerns the social psychological barriers to plant-forward diets.
In this position, I have had the opportunity to work with a number of really cool academics, all of whom excel in their respective fields. These people include Dr. Jared Piazza, Dr. Ryan Boyd and Dr. Heather Shaw.
More broadly, I am interested in behaviour change, identity, out-group prejudice and intergroup processes. I study these topics using variety of methodologies, some of the more exciting including: eye-tracking, smartphone-based experience sampling and computerised text-analysis.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to have a look around. I particularly recommend the 'Friends' tab.
